Few word about typical problems with this model. The Achilles heel of this model is DC motor of disk driver. The one turning disk arround. Typical symptom is disk not detected, sometimes ejecting still turning disk and very hot driver chips. The problem is the brushes of DC motor. The repair is simple- change motor. The source of such motors are old CD, DVD drives from computer. Take motor for eject mechanism. Don't care if it is 5 or 3V type. It will work.
